Job Title: Beachfront Bellhop Tampa Bay – Operations Manager and Lead Bellhop (Part‑Time)

 

Position Overview:

Beachfront Bellhop Tampa Bay is seeking an energetic and reliable Operations Manager and Lead Bellhop to help oversee day‑to‑day operations, communicate with guests, set up and take down beach equipment, manage Assistant Bellhops, and assist with marketing our services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will ensure exceptional guest experiences while supporting our mission of making beach days effortless and fun. This role offers flexibility, opportunities for bonuses, and a friendly, customer‑centric work environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, including setting up and taking down beach equipment, scheduling, coordinating, and scheduling and supervising Assistant Bellhops performing set‑ups and take‑downs at various beaches (primarily on weekends, setting up during early mornings, and taking down in evenings before sunset).

  • Manage inventory of beach equipment and supplies; ensure all items are clean, well‑maintained, and ready for use.

  • Handle back‑office tasks such as confirming bookings, invoicing, and responding to customer inquiries.

  • Assist with marketing efforts and community outreach to drive new bookings.

  • Support business development, including partnerships with vacation rentals and local businesses.

  • Ensure outstanding guest experiences by communicating clearly, addressing issues promptly, and upholding our high service standards.

  • Serve as a point of contact for Assistant Bellhops, providing direction and support; uphold safety protocols and company policies.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in the beach or hospitality industry (preferred).

  • Physically capable of all of the physical work required to set up and take down beach setups, including  lifting beach equipment, pulling a heavy wagon, and shoveling sand.

  • Strong time‑management skills and the ability to multitask.

  • Demonstrated initiative, detail orientation, and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and insurance; a pickup truck or similar vehicle preferred.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, early mornings, and evenings.

  • Comfortable supervising Assistant Bellhops while also working hands‑on with equipment.

Compensation and Hours:

  • Part‑time, approximately 20 hours per week.

  • Pay: $22 per hour with opportunities for performance and revenue goal bonuses.

  • Flexible schedule to accommodate early mornings, evenings, and weekend work as needed.

  • Start date: January 2026.
